Seattle has won each of the previous five meetings against Buffalo since joining the NHL as an expansion team in 2021, including both games played inside Climate Pledge Arena. The Kraken are on a four-game losing skid and sit 11 points behind Vegas for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with 16 games remaining on the schedule.

Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin leads the team in assists and points and comes into this game on a three-game points streak. Dahlin, who ranks ninth in the league among defenseman points, needs one goal to break his career-high of 15 set last season.

Jared McCann leads the Kraken in points for the third consecutive season and is on pace for his second-best season of his nine-year NHL career. McCann was selected by Seattle in the 2021 expansion draft and is the franchise’s all-time leading goal scorer, tallying 94 goals in three seasons.

During its five-game winning streak over Buffalo, Seattle has outscored the Sabres 26-12 with only one game being decided by one goal.
